Ghost Cop

About

Ghost Cop is a Brooklyn-based electronic duo consisting of Lucy Swope (vocals) and Sean Dack (synths/production). Formed in 2015, the project is defined by a blend of cinematic soundscapes, dystopian dance beats, and a deep-seated fascination with 1970s and 80s horror and B-movie aesthetics. Their music often pairs haunting, atmospheric vocals with gritty synth textures, creating what they describe as a "soundtrack for a movie that doesn't exist." Following their 2018 debut LP 'One Weird Trick' and the 2020 concept EP 'End Credits,' the duo released their sophomore album 'Trouble' in 2024, which explores more personal themes of psychological unease and vulnerability while maintaining their signature dark, retro-electronic sound.
