Inoculous
About
Inoculous is the math rock project of musician Demetri Wolfe, characterized by intricate guitar work, complex rhythmic structures, and melodic post-rock sensibilities. Originally formed while Wolfe was a student at Ohio University in Athens, the project relocated to Chicago in late 2020. Inoculous gained underground recognition with the EPs 'Creature Beach' (2019) and 'Innocuous Inoculant' (2020), the latter showcasing a more polished blend of technical proficiency and catchy motifs inspired by bands like Radiohead and TTNG. Wolfe often records most instruments himself but frequently collaborates with live drummers and other Midwest musicians for performances. The project remains a staple of the Chicago and regional Midwest math rock scenes, including regular performances in Milwaukee.
