About
Jets to Brazil was an American indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 1997. The band was founded by Blake Schwarzenbach, former frontman of Jawbreaker, and Jeremy Chatelain, formerly of Handsome. They were later joined by Chris Daly, former drummer of Texas Is the Reason. The band's name was suggested by Daly, inspired by a poster seen in the 1961 film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. Jets to Brazil released three albums: 'Orange Rhyming Dictionary' (1998), 'Four Cornered Night' (2000), and 'Perfecting Loneliness' (2002). They disbanded in 2003.
