About
Knapsack is a Milwaukee-based quartet that has been a staple of the city's DIY and underground indie scenes since the mid-2010s. Blending elements of classic Midwest emo with punchy indie rock, the band is known for their melodic guitar interplay and earnest, high-energy live performances. They gained local recognition with their 2016 self-titled release and followed up with the well-received 'High Nooner' in 2018. They are frequently seen performing at iconic Milwaukee venues such as the Cactus Club and X-Ray Arcade.
