About
Steel Nation is a long-standing hardcore band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, formed in the spring of 2005. The group's sound is a powerful fusion of traditional New York Hardcore (NYHC) and the darker, metal-influenced style of the Cleveland hardcore scene, citing influences such as Cro-Mags and Ringworm. Over their extensive career, they have released several influential projects on labels like A389 Recordings and Double or Nothing Records, including 'Forever Wounded' (2009), 'The Harder They Fall' (2015), and their most recent full-length, 'The Big Sleep' (2021). Known for their high-intensity live performances and DIY work ethic, Steel Nation remains a prominent fixture in the national underground hardcore community and frequently performs in the Milwaukee area.
