The Gadjits

About

The Gadjits were a prominent ska-punk and rock band formed in Kansas City, Missouri, in the early 1990s. Composed primarily of brothers Brandon, Zach, and Adam Phillips, the group was discovered by Tim Armstrong of Rancid and signed to Hellcat Records. Their early work, such as the 1998 album 'At Ease', was characterized by a soulful, organ-driven ska sound, while their later material shifted toward a raw garage rock style. The band was a fixture of the late-90s underground scene before disbanding in 2004. Following their split, the members went on to form the rock band The Architects.
