Mellow Harsher is a chaotic grindcore and powerviolence act hailing from Stoughton, Wisconsin. Known for their extreme speed, diverse vocal delivery, and unpredictable live energy, the band has become a cornerstone of the Midwest underground since their formation around 2011. Their sound often draws comparisons to chaotic metalcore and classic grindcore, highlighted by razor-sharp riffs and jarring rhythmic shifts. Over the years, they have released numerous split records with prominent underground bands like Deterioration, Suppression, and Internal Rot, as well as the critically acclaimed 'Served Cold' EP in 2015. Their 2025 career-spanning collection 'Good Grief' cemented their legacy as one of the most intense acts in the region.
