About
The Krank Daddies are a high-octane rock band hailing from Peru, Illinois, often associated with the broader Chicago underground scene. Founded in 2005 by frontman and guitarist Chops McClintock, the band delivers a self-described style of 'Raw Rippin' Rock n Roll' that fuses aggressive psychobilly, cowpunk, and classic rockabilly influences. Known for their high-impact live performances and vintage car culture aesthetic, they have toured the United States extensively and shared stages with legendary acts such as Motörhead, Social Distortion, Rob Zombie, and Reverend Horton Heat. Their sound is frequently described as a 'Johnny Cash went to hell and punched the devil' vibe.
